Chamomile really works and is used in a lot of products like tea. It also helps against cold and hay fever ( steaming ) nervousness, sleep issues and stomach issues. Even the old Egyptians used chamomile for health issues.
Because of an heavy cold the doctor told me to steam with chamomile and it should be gone within a few days. It actually did. I knew the tea variant of chamomile and knew it cold do many things but by cold I didn't know it could help that much. There are essential oils of this flower and is said it is really good for the skin.
The combination of chamomile and water is fantastic the healing part of water with the helping ingredient of chamomile makes the healing process much quicker for long term issues like the normal cold. If you have chamomile you can make the tea by yourself there are a lot of recipes out there. What I normally do is to but some of the flowers in a tea pot, put hot water on top of the flowers and wait minimal 10 minutes. After the waiting filter the water so no flowers are in the tea and you can drink it. I think it is the most common way a few friends do exactly the same but I also think it is based on taste. You can buy the dry chamomile in a lot of shops so if you cannot find them in the wild you can always buy them. Also the tea is in normal packages like the normal Lipton tea bags, wich also works good. Be careful if you want to get the flowers out of nature there is an flower who looks exactly like chamomile, by the smell you know if it is the real one or not.
Of course there are so many things this plant can do there are even food recipes with chamomile like water ice.
